Fazal Manzil is not just a house.
It is the final family home of Hazrat Inayat Khan where he holds the Summer Schools.
The house remained inhabited by Hazrat’s children and continued to be a place of Sufi gatherings.
To this day, Fazal Manzil carries the imprint of this legacy: a living space where wisdom, creativity, and peace meet.
Since its restoration in 2023, the house has been open to the public, welcoming groups and visitors.
Together, we can ensure that Fazal Manzil continues to grow and flourish as:
- a sanctuary for retreats and spiritual teachings,
- a vibrant home for music, arts, and meaningful gatherings,
- a historic house, lovingly preserved, open to creativity and wisdom.
- a place who welcome children, in partnership with local schools and with the Conservatoire of Suresnes.

Legal Structure
The FAZAL MANZIL Endowment Fund complies with French regulations, according to which Endowment Funds must be “of a philanthropic, educational, scientific, social, humanitarian, family or cultural nature, as well as for the enhancement of artistic heritage, the protection of the natural environment or the dissemination of French culture, language and scientific knowledge.”
By their very nature, endowment funds are recognised as being in the public interest. As such, Fazal Manzil is a not-for-profit organisation authorised to receive donations and issue tax receipts in France. For other countries please read “tax deductibility“page.
The structure is audited by Statutory Auditors, whose annual reports are published on the French Journal Officiel website.
The Endowment Fund was created in 2014 as the French administrative structure of the INAYAT Foundation (Dutch Foundation owning the public part of the house) with the following objectives:
- To run and manage a cultural and spiritual centre based on the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan.
- Hosting activities that resonate with its work.
